Medicaid questions?

  • Clients can become familiar with the application and guidelines here.  Assistance in completing this application is available at Westchester Disabled on the Move, Inc. (WDOMI). WDOMI offers a program to assist the blind, elderly (65+) and the disabled to enroll into Medicaid. The program helps to make sure that the elderly (65+), blind and the disabled have access to comprehensive, affordable health insurance. WDOMI have facilitated enrollers that provide services for Westchester, Putnam, Orange and Rockland counties. To make an appointment for Medicaid Enrollment assistance via this program please call WDOMI at (914) 968-4717. There is no fee for this service.
  • FIDA (Fully-Integrated Dual Advantage) – This is a program specific to dual-eligible long-term care needs.  For more information go to this page on NY HealthAccess.  To enroll, call NY Medicaid Choice (Maximus)  at 1-800-505-5678. Currently there is only one FIDA plan due to roll out in March 2017 – AgeWell. They would have to opt in.
