Senior Law Day is a project of the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services. It was developed by Westchester’s Department of Senior Programs and Services, in conjunction with legal and financial advisers from the private sector. The Westchester Library System is proud to be a sponsor of this information and service rich program. WLS staff also serve to co-chair this important program’s planning committee.
Senior Law Day programs are free and address all aspects of elder law, financial planning and geriatric care management.
This event, originally held annually, has gained momentum in the county with municipalities endeavoring to sponsor it locally as day-long events and as a program series. The day-long program offers a choice of workshops, plus free 15-minute, one-on-one consultations with some of the county’s leading legal, financial and geriatric care experts. Some workshops are available in Spanish.
